Counsler help?!
Question: Last year when I was in the 7th grade I saw this counselor that was hired by my school because of my depression. I really liked seeing her I was so happy and I feel like I had benefited a lot! But now she went into private practice so she is not at the school any more. So they hired this really creepy guy. That was my only option for a counselor because my mom can't afford another one. Well when I had a meeting with him and my mom I was asked if I should be having a counselor, and I lied and said no I don't need one because he makes me uncomfortable, so I don't see him any more. How can I ask my mom to call my previous counselor? I know that she can't afford it but doesn't some counselor have reduced fees? The last time I saw my counselor she said If things weren't going well for me she would talk to me again. But my mom is to embarrassed to ask her to reduce our prices (I understand that) But I am afraid if I ask her if I can she a counselor she will freak out that I lied and make me see that creepy guy, and I will have no way out of it. I am just to scared to ask her because I am afraid of what she will do. Should I ask her to call her or not? Please help me! I don't mean to say he is creepy, he just makes me nervous and I prefer female counselors.

write a letter. letters help me so much and doing what you are going through. maybe writing to your old therapist lady and telling her your situation.
also, usually there are other people in the schools that you can go to and talk to.
guidance, school nurse, trusted teacher, principle. they will have all the answers that you need and are looking for.
i have had plenty of horrible therapist, trust me, i understand where you are coming from. whatever you, DO NOT STOP seeking help.
