Why is it said there is no cure?!
Question: I struggle with infantilism. I've done research, and deep soul searching, and don't know exactly WHY I am so addicted to it. I am also a Christian, which as you can well imagine, creates quite an inner battle.
However my one question is: Why is it that in most all of my research, do they say there is NO cure for infantilism? IS this some form of psychological disorder or something?

I don't know what infantilism is, but I know about schizophrenia. they say there is no cure for schizophrenia too. However, some people need no medication anymore even after a long time, and lead productive, happy lives.
I think when they say no cure it means no pill, no operation, no medical intervention that takes it away. But that doesn't mean it can never go away!
If I was you, I would stick with jesus, as you already do. because he can help you.
What is your age and how long have you identified yourself with this disorder? Its very complex and you need serious and qualified help. Therapy.
I believe it falls under the OCD spectrum. There is no cure, but as with other forms of obsessive-compulsive disorders I'm sure it can be treated with some degree of success.
Keep up your faith in Jesus. While there is life there is hope.
