Zoloft question............?!
Question: how does it effect people when they're on it
Answers: how does it effect people when they're on it
When I took it, I experienced dry mouth, grogginess during the day (my psychiatrist suggested taking it at night after that), inability to fall asleep during the night, feeling warm/random sweating... I wasn't fond of Zoloft.
Like most SSRI antidepressants, it takes a while for a decent amount of the drug to build up in your system. As a result, a sudden halt in the consumption of the medication can lead to uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms (tremors, etc.). Stopping cold-turkey is never recommended.
It didn't help me or even effect me in any way.
i used to take that. it just makes you happier. i stopped because i was too happy-it wasn't normal.
I felt horrible. It mad me feel like I was looking out of someone else's eyes, I just was not with it. My doctor warned me not to stop taking them suddenly as you can feel suicidal, but I didn't care. They were bad pills.
My girlfriend is in a psych ward at the moment and has been put on Zoloft and Luvox as a combination, so I can't tell the EXACT effects but she seems to be getting better on them.
I can however comment on the fact that it makes her really really tired. She took it on its own one morning and she was asleep for a chunk of the day.
