Answers: i was bipolar disorder 2 without medication , then recently i doignosed serve depression and psychosis is that a sign of devlped disorder

Yes, it can. All that is required for the upgraded diagnosis (so to speak) is an actual manic episode. Hypomania can progress to mania. The difference in the two is the severity. Hypomania does not typically include psychotic symptoms and is not as disruptive to a person's life....not the way mania is...the latter often requires hospitalization to get under control while keeping every body safe. Bipolar depression has a tendency to be very severe and, at least in BP II, very persistent.

If you have bipolar disorder or any kind and want to have any sort of normal life, medication is an absolute must. And this means taking it properly every single day. It requires ongoing monitoring of your condition and most likely frequent med adjustments. I'm not going to sugar coat it...it sucks to need medication to function in a way that resembles "normal". But, BP is something that can be managed with proper treatment and doesn't have to dictate your whole life.

wats wrong with u babe y u depresed cheer up

I'm bipolar and schizoaffective. All that sh** means is you have a mood and thought disorder. You don't feel good. You aren't going to think straight while you feel bad anyway. Don't get caught away with categorizing yourself and tracking your progress or regress by some jackass diagnosis. Progress to what anyway? A raving lunatic running through the streets naked?

They can be part of Bipolar 2 as well...

Well, first off. You need to be ON MEDICATION. Its a given that a person diagnosed with bipolar will most likely continue to move around on the mood spectrum otherwise. As you get out on the edges of the mood spectrum is where I found the WEIRD stuff starts to happen.

A person that stays on meds may NEVER experience the WEIRD stuff. But, IMHO, if you don't keep yourself regulated with meds and by avoiding triggers then its possible ANY bipolar can go down the rabbit trail like Alice in Wonderland.

Keep Pandora's box closed. Take the meds. Avoid the triggers. Live the good life.
