Why can't sleep well at night?!

I have not slept well for over three years. I went to a sleep specialist and they couldn't figure out what the problem was for sure. Maybe one of my medicines, maybe something else. I have fibromyalgia and this is one reason I can't sleep well. It steals your R.E.M. sleep from you. So, I hope you can find the reason you can't sleep. Maybe it will be something simple such as too much caffeine or too much time on the computer, which is known to overstimulate your brain and keep you awake at night. Good luck!

Your body doesn't produce enough of the sleep hormone melatonin.Your body produces this when you are in sunlight.It is responsible for putting you in the R.E.M(deep state of sleep) You can do some research on melatonin on the Internet and purchase a melatonin supplement for around $3 at your local gnc.

Here is some steps to take..
> Do not eat in the 2 hours before you go to bed.
> No Alcohol or caffiene drinks at least 2 hours before you go to bed.
> Write a list of what you need to do in the morning so you dont think about it whilst trying to sleep.
> Maybe trying meditation before sleeping?

well maybe u are stressed! try to just relieve your feelings and just drift to bed! then all u should do is don't work to hard at day and watch what u eat for dinner! i heard that soda gives u dreams and u can fall asleep easily and i have done it many times! also if u are not sick, NyQuil is very use full and it is still helpful for sleeping and try Tylenol to get the pain to leave! Ive had this same problem!

you could be stressedor thinking a lot at night. i know sometimes, when i focus a lot on things or my problems,
i cannot fall asleep and the next day, i become very stressed.

maybe you should try speaking to your doctor to get put on some kind of sleeping pill.
