I would definitely speak with your parents or a school counselor if you feel this way. From what I do know about bipolar disorder, there are manic episodes characterized by racing thoughts, irritability, distractability, and a lack of need for sleep. There are also depressed episodes, which sounds like what you are describing. People who suffer from bipolar disorder often experience both mania and depression in either discrete or mixed episodes. The only way to tell if you are bipolar, however, is to speak with a licensed physician, preferably a psychiatrist. Don't just pass your feelings of depression off as mood swings; you really should at least speak with someone about it. Best wishes.

My daughter had this and it turned out to be just hormones. Do you have a manic phase?

try to talk to your doctor.
you may have depression.

there's no way for us to determine for you.
See a trained professional to find out.
Talk to the counselors at school and they will help you get whatever help you might need in finding out if you're bipolar or what might be bothering you. It could be just plain depression, or stress or hormones, but it's good to find out what it really is.

bipolar disorder is about highs and lows.
which is...anger problems and depression problems.
and they have baddd mood swings from happy to mad or happy to depressed

so you do not have bipolar disorder....
since you're 13, you're going through puberty right?
or you will sometime very soon?

that would be why..

but if you start to get suicidal [or thinking about it] then definitely tell your parents.

13 is a little young to be bipolar. Most people are diagnosed in the late teens early 20. If somethings feels off though go to a dr or find someone to talk to about it.You may feel better.

I'm pretty sure that you must be EXTREMELY happy for it to be bi-polar. I don't know much, though.

You are very young, and a bipolar diagnosis would be too early.

You are in the throes of hormone craziness. At your age, kids of both genders are experiencing hormones that make you insecure, depressed, manic, and over-emotional. It truly is a part of teenager-dom.

That being said, if you have terrible depression like suicidal that lasts more than two weeks every day, all the time, then you need to see a psychiatrist.

Otherwise, you are too young for Bipolar. You could suffer from ADHD, which would also be mood swingy. But I'm going to take a chance that because you are a girl it is less likely than depression or bipolar.

Just keep noticing. Keep a journal everyday of your mood swings, crying, what ever you do. One day in the near future this will be very important info for a counselor or therapist.

Don't worry. But if you feel like hurting yourself, go to a counselor at school, etc.

If you still have good days, do whatever it takes to get through the bad times.
