Any body on wellbutrin? What can you tell me about this medicine?!
Question: I'm only on Wellbutrin as a supplement to another anti-depressant, which I actually take for pain! I know sounds weird, but Cymbalta is now FDA approved for pain because it somehow alters the way we feel pain within the brain. And it works great, but the sexual side effects are atrocious for me. So, my doctor prescribed a small dose of Wellbutrin in order to counteract the sexual dysfunction.
Well, so far, I've been on it for a week and my sex drive is even BETTER than before!!! This is one of the only anti-depressants that actually doesn't cause sexual problems. So, that I know, and also, it wakes me up and makes me feel super chipper for some reason. I like it. I'm only on a small dose however, 100mg/day. That is pretty much only the dose that they give to people for smoking cessation, however, I still enjoy my cigarettes. It hasn't affected that at all for me.

Be careful! It mixes VERY BADLY with other medications! Use it minimally!
i have been on wellbutrin for about 2 years. no problem what so ever. i also take prempro, synthroid,and B12. i have not had any trouble with it while taking my other medications. i take 300 mg. daily.
I have been on it for 3 weeks now. Taking it for depression and less sexual sideffects. My ex broke up with me because I could not have an orgasm. All I have to say is that I cannot sleep at all on this. I am tacking 150mg extended release tablets. Its driving me nuts. I am lucky to get 2 hours of sleep a night. My eyes are killing me. So far not good. It helped a bit for depression but not for anxiety at all. I will continue to take it until my next visit and I may have to switch because I cannot sleep.
