i used to be a cutter many years ago, and personally i have found a product called Bio Oil, v v effective in reducing my scars. You normally buy it from a chemists or pharmacy. I tend to use it both morning and night and gradually u will find it improves the appearance of scars v well. i would definately recommend it. good luck, and v well done on stopping cutting as i know it is not at all easy. x

There's this cream made out of seashells that's known to erase scars pretty good.

Bio Oil :)

I don't think there are any products which get rid of scars completely. There are two which I would recommend however. I have used them on some of my old scars (also from cutting) to reasonable effect. The first is Bio oil, which is in my opinion the best. It can be a little pricey but a little goes a long way. For a cheaper option, Cocoa butter is also pretty good and has the advantage that it also smells great.

I think Boots (and therefore probably other places) sell some scar reduction stuff which is like a pad that you stick over it. My friend used those for a while but again they are reasonably pricey.

In general, moisturise and massage the area where you have scarring every day and it will help a little as it draws the blood there which speeds up/helps healing. All of these methods will take a couple of weeks before you start to notice any difference and the results are gradual and not that dramatic but they do visibly fade the scarring in the end.

ScarZone, you can find it at any drug store.

i used to be a cutter too. my scars are gone now thanks to scar treatment in the purple tube.
