Why do we cry?!
Question: Not when we get hurt like a pain but like when things go wrong? Crying doesn't change anything so why do we do it? This question is weird, I know. Im just going through things right now that im sad about and all i have been doing lately is crying. My mom says it's not going to change the situation...

Evolution. People that are crying attract sympathetic attention from others. But, 90% of the time, once they find out what you're crying about they move on.
to relieve stress, to get calmed, and perhaps get mentally prepared to solve the problem
It might not change the situation but it helps the process of getting whatever it is out of your system.
it's a form of release and a normal human emotion.
The act of crying forces us to hyperventalate slightly, which pushes more oxygen to the brain and helps it work better.
It's actually a survival mechanism - if our brain works better, we have a better chance of working out a solution to our problems.
it is actually good for you ..can be helpful and brings back a sense of balance to the mind
for women at least it been proven that when we cry it releases the chemicals that make us feel bad. so internally were doing something productive when we cry. plus thats why you hear women saying they had such a good cry.
