How do I deal with it....?!

Question: Last summer one of my best friends died. We were really close, he was only thirteen and I had just turned fourteen. He was skateboarding down a hill without a helmet and fell and got a cuncussion and knocked out and he went to the hospital and they tried surgery but he died.

There has not been a day since wher I haven't thought about it and I still cry but I think that's okay and all my friends never even say his name and I don't know which is right.

It's not fair, he wasn't doing anything wrong.

Don't be so sad, my friend...

The clock is clicking, why not turn to your new life? There will be more funny storys, more friendly guys, more colorful future... They are just standing there waiting for you!

Come on, my friend! ^_^

Talk to a counselor to help you get over your grief in a healthy way. It is normal to grieve after a death. Surround yourself with good friends who can motivate you.

There's no right or wrong way to grieve. Some grieve by crying. Others grieve quietly and in private. Neither way is right or wrong. You have to do what is right for you. If you want to talk about your friend, then talk about him. If it makes your friends uncomfortable, then talk to someone else about him. But do what you need to do to take care of your own mental health.

You never know, your friends might want to talk about him, too, but are afraid that they shouldn't. They may welcome the chance to talk about who he was and what he meant to them.

Witnessing someone being injured/killed is a common cause of PTSD.

Go see your doctor.
