I am taking abilify and want to lose weight?!
Question: Ever since i was on risperdal i gained more than 30 pounds on it when i was on it for like 6 months and now that i am not on it anymore i am dealing with this weight gain that i don't need and weighing 194 at age 23 and 5'1

Abilify is not supposed to affect your weight.
I have lost while I was taking other drugs in the same class, but it was hard. I had to change my whole lifestyle. I cut out sugar, refined flour, and saturated fat. I ate the right amount of calories for my weight and ate 9 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday. Since then I got so depressed I stopped caring and gained it all back.
