What you're feeling is a natural reaction to those around you. Clearly you've known several people to experience terrible loss and your best friend losing a 2-year-old is definitely going to affect you a great deal. But this is no way to go through life. I would suggest seeing a professional who specializes in anxiety because you seem to have a lot of it and I imagine it's begun to interfere with your everyday life. And if you knew the people who have died, some help with any grief you may be feeling probably wouldn't hurt either.
Good luck!

Become religious. All religions have pretty good tips on how to deal with death in a positive way.

try not to think about it and enjoy life w/ your fam and friends to the fullest. when i think of things like that i do get real sad and want to cry but i try not to think of that. think positive!!!!!

Whatever your religion is, lean toward that. Talk to your pastor, read the Bible, whatever. Talk to someone about it and think positive thoughts! Yes, everyone dies. You can not avoid it. Why not enjoy your time an stop worrying? Make a difference and do something in your life. Stop worrying. When it happens, go to a counselor, talk to your family, but right now - live. Smile! God Bless,
M

We all die. There is no life without death.Youll just have to except it.

Death of a loved one always hurts. My Dad was a minister and the one thing he taught me was that death is actually our rebirth to be with our heavenly Father. We lost him to cancer in 1992 but his last days were not spent just weeping but in a celebration of everlasting life. It's okay to miss and cry for those we lose, it's natural. Weep for those you lose but rejoice in Jesus name that they have only gone to set a place for us when our time comes. Peace be in your soul!!!

Frankly, I think you need to figure out why you are afraid of death. Certainly, it is considered the great "unknown", but there are a great many things we don't know about, and no one seems to be afraid of the other things we don't know. It appears to me that it isn't even death that so much frightens you as loss. You are perhaps afraid to be alone, or to lose something or someone you care for. Sadly, this is a fact of life, eventually we all lose someone. Religions will try to smooth the way by telling you you will see them again in the afterlife.... personally, I think we are all eternally connected and don't truly lose anyone... we just don't see them for a while. Suggest that you need to learn to appreciate those you love while you have them. Focus on that, and don't focus on the eventuality of losing them, or you spoil the time you do have with them. It's your choice you know.

Every now and then when you notice how frightened you are about loosing the people you love, have a plan in your head about what you would do.
Talk to the people you love about how you would manage.
Come up with a plan. Try to have many people in your life that you love a great deal. I often think about loosing my mother and how will I be able to carry on.
