Can anyone give me information on Dementia?!
Question: Over the past two years my family has noticed a change in my dad. Out of no where, he starts making weird noises, when he talks he doesn't make sense, he joins in conversations he is not part of and asks the same questions numerous times, he wakes me up when I'm sleeping and asks what I'm doing. He never remembers anything. I tell him I'm going to the movies, and when my mom asks him where I went, he says I'm at my friends house, and he'll name a friend. I had a boyfriend for two years, and he still doesn't know his name after he's talked to him many times. He has a short temper and gets mad at EVERYTHING, especially when I cry. He sleeps a lot, and is extremely lazy. Does anyone know what this might be? The doctor started doing tests, and so far he said it may be dementia.
