How to release my anger?!


Question: im a teenager and lately ive been getting crazy mad over everyday things. like when somebody accidently pushes me down, not controlling myself i scream at them using all the cusswords in the world. or if im alone and somthing gets me mad, i smash somthing into the ground and scream. i broke my remote yesterday beacause of it, and i need to control myself. can anyone help?

Your out burts of anger can be related to other emotional issues going on in your life. Maybe you are upset about other things and are having a difficult trying to express your emotions about them and your anger manifests in a bad way. Consider talking to your school councellor or are licensed professional.

Your anger can also just simply be the result of physical changes you may be going through. As your testosterone levels rise, so will your agressive tendencies. It may be that all you need is an appropriate outlet to vent. I know when I was in my teens, taking martial arts was a big help. Not that I want you to get good at hurting people, but its a great exercise, it builds self confidence, and self control.

Another thing you might try is whenever you feel upset, instead of breaking something start writting. And just write random things that come to mind, don't hold anything back - feel free to cuss and make threats all you want, its your journal. But after you calm down and have gotten to a point where you can't think of anything else to write, read what you wrote. You might realize that your anger was caused by something else.

Aside from that when you feel angry, just take a few deep breaths, get a grip on yourself and just try to let it go.

Has something bad happened lately? Talk to someone. Maybe anger management...

this is the age you need to get in to perfect shape physically and mentally. some thing is disturbing you a lot. please control with this therapy of self control, meditation. it's like close your eyes for a minute and think about a wonderful lush green garden with full of flowers.start counting very slowly down from 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.try count up 1,3,5,7,9 and 2,4,6,8,10 three times any time this you can practice. if any situation what you mentioned, leave the spot immediately cool off.do the same thing counting.go to an remote place, close your eyes and chant OM,OM,om that,sat three times practice this you will be alright within 30 days but sincerely you have to practice.

Well, do you have like bad mood swings? Get a little sad after ya get pisseed?

If so...sorry, but you're bipolar.

Cause that sounds like how I get...
I'm bipolar(it started at 15...I'm 17 now)

But..if its not like that

Then anger management for sure.
OR....look into boxing or karate.
That will DEFINITELY help ya
With your testosterone build up hah
