Does anyone with depression have trouble feeling love?!
Question: Because i have just been feeling numb about everything but feeling numb towards my boyfriend of over two years doesnt sit right with me. I should be feeling the love I've always felt for him, but since becoming depressed for no aparent reason, I've had trouble with it. I have been diagnosed with moderate depression, and I've been on anti-depressants for only 6 weeks now.
Anyone else experienced this? I just want reasurrance.
P.S. im asking if others have been in my shoes, because I know about depression and other mental illness, I'm training at uni to become a psychiatric nurse, notice the irony!! i would much appreciate any similar experiences??
