Are there any good OTC medications or food supplements that will help with depre!

Question: I've been taking St. John's Wort, with very litttle success.

Answers: I've been taking St. John's Wort, with very litttle success.

b complex vitamins or there are these two meds you can by online (I haven't taken them because my condition is so severe to warrant perscriptions, but I did really check them out) AMORYN, SEREDYN

Other tips:
avoid caffinee and large amounts of sugar.
Exercise-even if you take short walks or walk up and down your stairs a few times.

Exercise. Walk or exercise 30-60 minutes every day. It really will help. You should feel better at the end of two weeks or so. When you feel better, do not stop exercising, keep it up.

B vitamins might help also. But exercise is the most effective, cheapest, easiest method I have found that really works. Good luck.

Good nutrition & adequate exercise are about as good as it gets for non-prescription help.. St.John's Wort was useless for me as well. I've been on Prozac the past 15 years, & that has given me my life back..There is color in my world again, there are good people & there is enjoyment. It makes me able to get out of bed every day without being totally overwhelmed before my feet hit the floor. Not all is rosy--I have tough spots like everyone else, but they last a day or so, not months..I urge you to explore this alternative--it made THE difference in my life...
