This might sound crazy, but try drinking a LOT of water before you go to bed. It'll settle in your stomach as you sleep and eventually will wake you up because your body has SO much water in it, you'll need to go to the bathroom. Doesn't always work with time, but it'll get you up in the morning, lol.

And actually, putting an alarm clock right by your head is pretty bad, because it's easy to turn it off in your sleep--everybody I know has done it at least a few times when their alarm is that close to them. Try getting a really loud, obnoxious alarm clock and putting it all the way on the other side of the room. Then set 3 alarms, lol. Sounds crazy, but this is how I get up in the morning. Set one for 6:15, one for 6:30, and one for 6:45. You'll probably hear one of them and get annoyed enough to walk across the room to turn it off. And once you've walked across the room, you're usually more awake. If you hear the first alarm, then leave the other 2 set and get back into bed if you want, lol. Then you can get a little more rest but still have the alarms set to get you up in time.

If you really don't hear the alarms at all, then I dunno what to say, unfortunately. Good luck, though! I hope this helps! :)

Have your family come in & wake you up physically :) My mom always yells & I give in. Or go to bed early..

you should try staying up the most you can sometimes when you have something on your mind you wake up early try that

If you truly cannot get up, that is a problem.
Set a stereo as your alarm clock and have it come on with blaring music that nearly blows your eardrums out. If that doesn't work, see a doctor.

Use a wake up call service, or have a relative or friend phone and wake you up at that time.

well if i were you i would set an alarm clock but thats me you should make a rutein for yourself like me.

Your body can naturally adjust to its own "internal clock" by repeating the same actions again and again. If you go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every day, your body will adjust and you'll find it easier to wake up. You may even wake up moments before your alarm clock goes off. They have "gag" alarm clocks that are made. One is a "puzzle" alarm. It has four pieces that pop out and fall onto the floor. You can't turn it off until you find the pieces. And put them back in. You may also want to find an alarm that has different sounds. Find the one that is the most annoying and set it for it. It may help.

O K so first let's assume insomnia isn't the root of this problem. So, you fall asleep (sober?) quickly and get a good 8 hrs (I wish)... then remain dead asleep through a loud alarm. If all of the above is ok then let's continue with possible attempts at mental training. While setting the alarm, do you count hours?; reminding yourself when you're getting up, and what you need to do in confidence that you will, not fear that you won't get up. Never trust the snooze, it trains you to allow yourself to fade away once you've already successfully woken. And most importantly, stop telling yourself "alarm clocks don't wake me up"....good luck

go to bed earlier

I have known people who have gotten several alarm clocks with various sounds and they place them all around the room to wake themselves up. You should probably be in bed by 10 pm to assure yourself of an adequate number of hours of sleep.
