Become an hero

You need to be more exact with this question maybe there in denial can you repost the question and explain your story -please!!!

perhaps because they don't want to, it's amazing how deep in denial people can get when their idea of how things should be is threatened. Talk to a counsellor, perhaps in school, if you are going to school, and ask the counsellor to talk to your parents for you.

what symptoms do you have?

If it bothers you alot. I would speak with a school guidance councilor or school psychologist.

Just say. Lately, I have been feeling________ and I told this to my parents they don't' believe I am. I am concerned.

Just by posting this question it's obvious that you're just seeking attention, and they probably realize that.

um, denial

maybe they don't want to or you are not showing it enough.

Maybe they are in denial?

By depressed do you mean really down? Talking to someone will help.

it probably isn't clinical depression (caused by chemical imbalances in the brain and may need medication)

All parents should listen to and believe their children... no matter what... it could be a case of life & death... you give no details so why don't they believe you??

i think that you should sit them down and let them know how you feel

Maybe because all teenagers have mood swings. Talk to them quietly and honestly.

some parents find it hard to see that their child has become unhappy, and refuse to admit to themselves that their child is suffering. They might be in denial, or they may think that if they ignore the situation it will go away. People are different and so have different minds, so it is hard to tell. Try talking to them and tell them how you feel. If your ready to admit it over the internet, talk to them and try to break through to them and tell them the problem.
