Obviously they are both either mentally ill or mentally challenged (I hate that term) and should be treated gently and carefully and get whatever help they need.

i think nothin cause she was the one who locked herslf right? but i guess hes mean that he didnt call help but maybe she was brushin her teeth

I think he should be charged with neglect or something. In my opinion the man had no respect for the welfare of this women. How do we know if he really cared for her as he said he did. Two years to call for help leaves alot of questions unanswered. I hope the Police arrest him and start asking him soon why it took him so long?

He should have sought other help. When you are so mentally drained that you are endangering yourself, you need to help whether you want it or not. She was obviously not in her right mind, not coherent. Therefore is it the responsibility of the b/f to help her. If he was not able to help her on his own, he should have sought the help of a doctor.

I don't think he should be punished for her actions. It sounded like they both were mentally challenged to begin with and maybe he didn't know that he should have contacted someone. But is it really his job to tell someone that she is chosing to stay in the bathroom? Isn't she responsible for her own actions to some degree, even if she is mentally handicapped?.

This story is very sad, unfortunately the boyfriend didn't act sooner.
I'm not sure he can be charged, she is an adult, not a minor.

none he feed and watered her...she did this to herself I am sure that he loved her very much...where did you read this in a tabloid magazine...she is a moron

He should not be charged with anything, because she entered the bathroom on her on freewill and she refused to come out. As long as she is at least 18.

i don't think that he should be charged at all

If the woman has a diagnosed mental health disorder that he was aware of, it would be neglect of a disabled person.

he really should of got her help sooner. it was a strange bizarre story, a sad story too, she obviously needed help and that should of come before now.

He should not get charged at all with anything. She was so EMO, she needs some therapy

why should he be charged? what was he doing wrong?

i think that s cruel......................................
