Whats the difference between zoloft and prozac?!
Question: After taking 1.5 years of Zoloft, which suits me well, i am concerned about the change to Prozac. Is it safe? I am getting married in next 3 months. How does this effect my health? i went to my doctor cause I felt that my anxiety and depression was coming back. So is Prozac stronger than Zoloft? Does it react badly with alcohol?

Both are anti-depressants with a different chemical profile. The strength depends on the prescription. How it works for you depends on your body chemistry. After 1.5 years of any anti-depressant, it will lose some effectiveness. Anti-depressants are not meant to be taken long-term, but should be combined with cognitive behavioral therapy to reduce the depression. All anti-depressants react badly with alcohol.
Both are antidepressants. If the Zoloft works why take the Prozac. I've heard alot of bad things about the Prozac but never the Zoloft.
