Trouble seeing the point in doing anything...?!

Question: I have trouble seeing the point in doing anything at all because I have no one to share it with, it's like what's the point in anything other than staying under the covers, if there's no one to share or do with?

Please don't say go get a b/f, as I'm not ready to emotionally invest in anyone right now.

Is it wrong to think like this?
How can I over come this?
Please help.

the trouble is you need to love yourself. dont do things just to share with others, do it for YOU. be your own friend. dont depend on others to motivate you

what you need is NOT a relationship with a b/f but with a supportive person(s). I know how terrible it can feel to be alone but those were te times i had to FORCE myself to find interaction with someone or else i wouldnt get out of bed. Are you suffering from depression? I am open to talk about anything I have dealt with depression for 9 years myself so maybe I can help you.

I think everyone has felt this way at one time or another in their lives. I think it becomes a problem when you can't overcome the feeling though. Seeing the point comes from inside of you, not the outside world. You will have to start with changing your thinking. Tell yourself everyday that you are somebody and you are worth something. What you put out in the world is what will come back to you. When you take the time to take a step back and discover who you are and what you really want to do is usually when you will find that people will be drawn to you. And no matter how hard it might be, put a smile on your face and keep pressing forward.

Well, yes what you are saying is a quite common feeling for most anyone. There really is no point in doing anything if it doesn't fit into an overall concept you have for living. You might ponder some questions of whether you see value in living, and whether you can see any goals or objectives you would like to achieve in general in the next month, year, ten, and/or twenty years. Wright some ideas and thoughts down and see if that helps. Of course you could ask you general practitioner Dr. and see if you need professional assistance in some way if you find you are getting satisfying results by yourself.

I am also feeling alone and lonely.
It takes time to find people that you like.
It would be nice to have a special someone that we enjoyed being with and doing things with.
I know if I just keep staying home, there is no way I am going to meet a perspective friend.
It does take energy to meet others.
Intellectually, I know the more people we have in our lives, the more likely we will find someone special to share our time with. I hope we will find that special friend. Good Luck.

you say you dont have anyone to share it with because you dont want anyone to share it with. doing the things you love is all that matters and yes you would want to share it with someone to get there opinion and thats normal but its not okey to say theres no point to doing anything because there is always a point like me typing this to help you

i think you would make some friend (i don't mean b/f get a friend maybe your age) that you can share your thought with and you could feel better trust me i also get the same problem.
