For one we do not know for sure that is the truth, Most of the time it is . Because very few people say that unless it is true. But there are some people who live for conflict and they hate family members so much they would do anything to hurt them even lie. Okay now lets get down to the fact lets say she did not lie. It is most likely he himself was raped by someone at a early age. Most of the people who do that have been done that way themselves. Then they pass it on.
Then there is a side where it is a control factor too. Some young men if they are the only male in the house then they want to be in control . Well this is a good way to gain control of the others smaller more vunerable.
You ask why can we all just be nice and show each other respect. Well Honey that would be lovely but that would not be reality. We are all not the same. And there has got to be a Good and a Bad in everything we do. So that is why.
You feel bad for her, well don't because she will come out of this stronger and more able to watch and know about what is going on around her then most young women today.
And if she is a strong young woman she will find a way past it and she will become more then you will ever think. Because that will take her higher and futher away from him and that will be where she wants to go. Yes he may be her brother. But the question we should be asking is who did it to him. A father ,uncle or aunt maybe mother could be a babysitter even. So you see he could have had it happen to him anywhere. But the best thing we can do for both of them is pray for them. Because I am sure that is the only thing that is going to help either of them.

I forget the statistics but it was somewhere around 1/3rd of young females are typically raped by members of their own family whether it be immediate family or more distant, also those hired to watch them and family friends
I guess they like the strange temptation and the fact they think their family will stay loyal. It is also easy to minipulate somebody you know into thinking they are the ones in the wrong. To be honest, I wouldn't think about it too much! There is a chance this may happen to you ofcourse, however I guess you have a close family and it won't. If you know anybody in this form of abuse (or any) try and get them help!

There's a fair chance that he was sexually abused when he was younger, too. Not saying that's the case, but odds are it is.
Jennifer's statement that she'll be stronger for it, etc, is only true if she gets help and counselling. CSA screws up a person in many ways and it often sticks for life. With help, yes, she can be a much stronger person than many.
Nearly all childhood sexual abuse is commited by family or close family friends. It's sick, but it's much more common than you'd think.
There are a lot of sick people in this world.
They have no sense of right and wrong.
such things disgust me. but to be honest, i've had urges to do them myself. it's all part of growing up, like dogs they would **** everything in sight. It's a part of nature and incest is no exception. but we are human beings in a highly developed society, so by all cost we must avoid such things to occur again.
