Why do i feel sick when i see movies about the elec chair?!
Question: I've watched The green mile and so and i always feel sick, not like i'm gonna be sick but i feel physically sick - only when i see stuff about the chair it's not what they persons supposidly done that i feel sick or even if they get the lethal injection it's just the chair it seems to really scare the crap outta me too! Why's that? Am i weird lol

Part of Entertainment (if you wanna call it that) is to shock and dig for your deepest reaction to certain situations. The Green Mile has some horrific scences and the author of the book as well as the director of the movie tend to do what it takes to get the response desired. It's human nature to be "sick" over something as such. And your reaction was what they were going for to enhance the story line to what your overall opinion of the movie is.
The electric chair is a crude form of execution and that is one reason it is not used today.
So no youre not weird...concerned...yes. Scared of the electric chair...who wouldnt be?

i don't know, but i feel the same way. the green mile is gruesome. i was sobbing hysterically throughout that whole movie.
when someone is executed by lethal injection, they just kind of fall alseep (i don't know what actually goes on in real life) but the electric chair is a much more dramatic, intense way to die.
no, you aren't weird at all. it's human. what i think is weird are those people that can sit through seeing those kinds of things without even flinching.

yeah I was watching the gren mile the other night and I didnt like to watch the parts with the chair either! Especially near the end when he doesnt wet the sponge! =0(
