I don't think I belong in a mental institution but I think most of this society should go. I also think that most Americans hear voices except for people like myself.
Mental institutions are generally only for people who are a life-threatening danger to themselves and/or others.
As long as you can refrain from killing others or yourself, than you're good to go.
i talk to myself all the time even in a very public place, all i hear are there different voices in my head and i have long conversations with them. everyone around me thinks i'm crazy and should be treated as a person who should be in a mental institute. but i have been talking to myself since i was 3 and i am now 19. i have seen may specialists about my problem yet i don't see it as a problem but as a entertaining and relaxing.
