Can a human change from a predominantly diurnal sleep pattern to a more nocturna!

Question: Can I in any way train myself to do something like this?

Answers: Can I in any way train myself to do something like this?

Oh yes.
Even if humans are predominantly diurnal, one can become nocturnal over time.
It's a lot like how books detail how to change a hamster from nocturnal to diurnal. (NO I'M NOT SAYING PEOPLE ARE HAMSTERS)
You simply change the times at which you recieve light gradually. Make it about ten minutes later each night, and your body will start to shift with it.

However, I warn you that you will not lead a normal life.
You will lose contact with others.
Being asleep while everyone is awake will separate you from 90% of the human population in your area. (I say 'your area' as I don't want a dumbass saying 'OHHH but what about in Australia or China?!?!?')
You can still do grocery shopping, but movie theaters, malls, libraries, many stores, schools, most careers, and the majority of places will no longer be an option at all.

Yes it will just take a little while...

yeah, just work the graveyard shift.
or, don't sleep one night so you're tired and then sleep all day. that way when you wake up it'll be night and you won't be tired. just keep repeating.

Yes I worked night shift for 9 ro so years and I am pretty much nocturnal, I cannot sleep at night unless I keep myself up all day.

Well, people can live a nocturnal lifestyle. But you can't switch to a nocturnal lifeform.

Human being are naturally diurnal. Our brains are wired to release melatonin when it's dark. Your brain goes to the trouble of DRUGGING you at night. It wants you to go to sleep.

People also get vitamin D from sunlight. So you'll need to find a way to supplement that.

Those are just two examples of how your body is oriented to daytime activity.

and WHY would you want to do that??
