Question: It was a question that asked how cutters felt years on. People shared some fantastic stories about their experiences and I looked forward to chatting to some of you. However the man has removed the question before I could get any contacts etc.

Unbelievable. The question and answers were interesting, honest and not offensive in the least. People who have never been in that situation don't understand and to report it was just plain ignorant. Im glad i read it before it was removed and thank you for asking it. It's a subject that should be talked about not something to be ashamed of.

I don't get why it was removed, although some people on here have some very odd ideas about what should or should not be removed.

It is strange that a question that could help people share their stories was removed. People who self harm feel alone with their need, it is great that there was a chance for them to discover others in the same torment.
I see some rude, racist questions that never get removed.
I think perhaps questions should not be so easily removed by ignorant uptight people. It should be done by Yahoo Answers guidelines only! Thanks for the apology on their part.

It's really sad that it was removed. Sometimes people that are still going through it find some inspiration from people like yourselves. I haven't been a self harmer, I did have an eating disorder. My friend self harmed though. I truely think that when you go through anything like this, or even alcoholism or drug addiction that you learn to live with that addiction and you learn to live without it because you are worth it even though you may doubt it for a long time yet. I'm glad that you have come through it and feel strong enough to try and be there for others-some people don't make it and you did - bravo. Forget the banned question babe. xxxx
