The answer to this eternal question (dont mind my pun) depends from one religious belief to another...
I believe that human life is part of a grand cycle. While the body is created at birth and withers away (disintegrates) after death, the soul is everlasting. It flows from one body to another, this 'soul' is YOU.
So, I'm not scared of dieing and neither should anyone else as you will continue life, in another form. Which form? depends on your actions and deeds of the present life.

So much to do and know, but nowhere near enough time.... And no one knows what being "dead' feels like.

The only reason I don't want to die is because I'm alive.
I just don't want to feel pain. After I'm dead I think the world would be blank. Just completely blank. Remember the time before you were born. That might be what it would feel like.
first of all, im not scared of dieing. when you die you will go to your next birth, heaven, or you might go to hell to repay for bad karmas. i am not scared of dieing at all i am actully looking forward to it and cant wait till this torture of life is over. i am sure heaven is better than this earth. i will happily agree if you say to me ure time has come ^ ^ yay god
I once was scared of dying, but not anymore. I have adjusted to the fact that I will die one day. The natural feeling is to want to live, and I do want to live as long as I am pain free and happy. Learning not to fear death can be accomplished through a close relationship with God. Your spiritual life will give you the peace of knowing you will have an eternal peaceful heavenly home. I am afraid to die...
because I don't know what lay after death and the unkown sounds so threatening.
because I am afraid of terrible pain. It frightens me that I might die suffocating in a box, burnt alive or drawned. Seeing myself dying would terrify me.
because I am working so much for my future and have so much plans that I don't want my life to end too early
It's scary that the body will be eaten up by worms and maggots. You will just stop existing. It will feel like nothing.
