That is not a typical reaction if you develop hives take a benadryl, call your doctor and don't take it again you might be having an allergic reaction if you get hives, swell up, or have difficulty breathing then go to the ER
I'm on it and the only side effect I notice is dry mouth, especially in the middle of the night. I also can't drink red wine or I get sick.
Prozac was an AWFUL choice for me, it made me extremely aggressive and I tried to kill myself, and that's when I actually started cutting - but I don't know if itchy skin is a side effect, but I know I get really itchy when I'm having a hard time, so I don't know if it connects or not
