The concentrated extract of most herbs will intensify both positive AND negative effects simultaneously. I wouldn't suggest you ingest 1 gram. Doses of the purified active isolate are dangerous at doses of 1 milligram or higher. Even though the 20x form is still significantly weaker than purified Salvinorin A, 1 gram could very easily be toxic. Stick with very SMALL doses and if you feel you need to experience a more profound effect, GRADUALLY increase the amount over time.
If your body absorbs all of the active chemicals then you should experience a moderate trip however it would last much longer than if you just smoked it.
If eaten you would come up withing 10-20 min, peak for around 30-90 minutes, then have after affects not lasting more then 2-3 hours.
I recommend just smoking it.
