Can too much Seroquel cause memory loss?!

Question: Hello.
I was put on Seroquel, 200mg, back in December of 2007. I pretty much took it day and night. Man, it knocked me off for about a whole day. But anyway, does this antipsychotic cause permanent memory loss? I am just concerned because I notice that I forget little things every once and then. I would forget even before being put on Seroquel, but just wondering. And also, for any of those who have taken it. Does it work well on you guys? Do you feel the benefits working? Thanks. I stopped taking it in January and I lowered to 50mg. I have anxiety, depression, etc.

I have taken it (200 mg) for 6 months now, I have noticed the benifits. I used to worry and think way too much at night, so now I take 1 before I go to bed and it knocks me right out. I have no side effects in the morning either. But medicine effects many people differently. 50 mgs is a low dose. 200 mgs is also a low dose. You should talk to your doctor. And no I have not noticed any memory loss. That could be caused by other things that you may be doing.

No matter how many clever questions you ask, you'll never get a fully satisfactory set of answers. Some things can be learned only from experience... and some things are simply not worth experiencing.though, where there is a suspicion that you may be on to an idea that's worth pursuing. Overcome your reticence and curb your enthusiasm too. Simply conduct some kind of careful, limited, hands-on trial. Only a practical experiment will reveal a meaningful answer.
