What do you say to a nutter on your forum?!
Question: I'm an admin on a Bruce and Brandon Lee forum, and we have a new member who claims that when she looks in the mirror she sees Brandon Lee's reflection beside her own. She claims he has hugged her. She broke her foot and was crying and he appeared to her and told her not to cry and yadda yadda yadda.
I have told her that she was probably lucid dreaming, but she says not.
Any ideas how to call her on this without being rude, which I can't be, since I am an admin and must at all times be diplomatic.
Please help!

I think I would just say "I'm glad that this vision is bringing comfort to you"...... each time she comes up with a new story. She either really believes her stories, or she is just a drama queen....either way it kinda puts a quick end to the discussion about her latest "vision"!

Your question isn't clear. Why do you have to call her on it at all? Just let her believe what she wants to believe.
If what you are saying is that she is posting far too many crazy postings about it, you do have the right to limit the postings to a reasonable number.
Being a moderator is not fun. You're always torn between wanting to support free speech and trying to keep the signal-to-noise ratio to something reasonable.
There is no good answer.
