by not making it ok to do meth. for pete's sake, he's so pitiful, he lost everything because he tried meth, now he's on methadone, and blah, blah, blah. its a drug, make the punishment for doing and producing drugs more severe. i don't feel a bit sorry for any drug addict, they have put themselves in that place, and they ought not expect detoxing to be easy, or for there to be shoulders to cry on since everything has been so hard for them....... its time to be responsible for your own actions and stop playing the blame game.
Be open and honest about drugs with our children, help our them deal with their emotions so they don't have to turn to drugs to hide or numb their feelings - There is always a solution to a problem and we must translate that to our kids so they don't think that drugs are the answer.
As far as the people on it already - they have to come to terms with it on their own. Noone can be forced to quit. There solution is to get cleaned up or face jails, institutions or death.
