Does anyone knowingly have Passive Agressive disorder? How do you live with it?An!

Question: My ex husband. You live with it by wanting to do something about it (he does not). Passive aggressive people are stuck in a stage of development that is like a stubborn small child, basically they tend to not talk when frustrated or just yell and scream. They do not know how to communicate because they never learned how at home, and it is very difficult to be the mate of a person like that. They tend to keep trying to put you in the role of the parent so they can revert to the role of child (as I found out over 22 yrs) because it is so much more comforting for them to be there. If it is a new relationship, do not walk- run the other way! If you have something invested in it therapy might help. I gained lots of insight over the years with my therapy, but he refused to go himself after once or twice. :(

I havent been diagnosed but in recent times I've started to think I might. I've always been passive aggressive but as things spiral out of control I'm realising how much of an impact its had.... I'm assuming that councilling can help.....

As for meds I doubt it unless its making you depressed. As far as I know there isnt something to be able to make you more extroverted in your travels.

But thats just what I think. some good councilling sessions and hopefully it'll all be manageable.
