What would u think if you witnessed my reaction?!
Question: I'm a very soft-spoken, worrisome person. I've always been worried about not gaining my permanency. Today, my boss had a huge smile on his face and approached me. He told me that the final evaluations are in and gave me a thumbs up as he confirmed that I got the permanency. I smiled really big but started blushing like crazy. Lowered my head but still was smiling. Tried to make eye contact again, but I could feel my face burning up and had to look back down.
There were other people around me at the time. What would u think if you witnessed my reaction?

I wouldn't really think anything about it. I might think you're just modest and maybe a little shy. No big deal.
I would think that you were really really happy!
I would think your just sort of shy and your so happy and reilived and you were just speechless

That your are very happy and grateful! I m pretty sure your boss and co-workers were happy as well for you! So don't worry!
That maybe you were a little embarrassed and happy too at the same time.
Other people's thoughts about you are none of your business. My life was hell until I fully realized that statement. Please set yourself free from other people's opinions; they're a jail.
I don't think thats anything to be embarrassed about. If you're a shy person your co workers wouldn't expect you to act any different. congratulations
