How do I remain calm to finish what I've started?!

Question: My success just ain't moving fast enough....and this year ain't slowing down.....I am trying not to self-destruct. I am 42, divorced, back at the parents house, working part-time/attending school, and have maybe 2 quarters left to get certified into introductory medical field. I know once I get qualified, I might can get out on my own, but until then.....I am stressed a little. Any advise?

you seem to be on the right track. just hang in there. save up while you don't have a lot of expenses so you can be completely independent once you finish school and start your new career.

You're fortunate enough to have parents who will take you in while you get on your feet. Use this time wisely, work on getting out of and staying out of debt, and stay as positive as possible. You're doing what's right for yourself, and that's the best you can do. If it takes an extra year and you need to take things slow, that's fine. Hang in there.

Close the past as best you can. Look to the future, take one day at a time and gratefully accept the support you are being given. The rest will follow.

You could try some stress relief methods like deep breathing, meditation and self-hypnosis. All of these techniques will help you to keep the stress at a manageable level so that you can concentrate on what you have to do and get back on track. If you believe in God, reconnecting and spending time in prayer will help. Trials are an opportunity to come closer to Him but they can also be a temptation to give up. Don't. Hang in and things will work out.
