Alzheimers help???!
Question: I know ALL about Alzheimers so please dont TELL me about it. I have a grandfather that has alzheimers and my grandma died. he lives with me now. We play Italian cards, and he speaks Italian to me, what can I do to keep him occupied and active indoors?

my mother had alzheimers.she liked to watch the birds out side.so,i had feeders so she could enjoy the birds.at times she just wanted to quiet time &that was ok to.I had to as you say go with the flow!moods changed daily.Love him ,cherish the time you have with him.
Find things to do around the house. have him possibly help you organize something... play games with him--possiblly board games? He might be into TV??? Most of all the important thing is make sure he gets his rest and your there to listen to him. my grandmother had alzheimers as well... i'm sorry but everythign is going to be ok. You just need to make sure you remain strong for HIM. god bless.
