Question: I ahve to do a movie review for 50 first dates for pshychology. I know that the name "Goldfield's Syndrome" isnt real but is what happens to lucy possible. I know about short term memory but can it really be like that?

There are two types of memory loss. Retrograde and Anterograde. Retrograde is forgetting things that happened before the incident that caused the memory loss. Anterograde is similar to what Lucy had... it's a short term memory loss. It can't REALLY be like that exactly, but there are people who have to keep a notebook that they write in everyday so that the next day they can remember what happened. Hope this helps!
