stay away from the drugs

I had larazapam it didnt have any obvious side effects and lasted quiet long actually..

moderate term help can be something like Busiprone (Buspar) and immediate attacks with Klonipine. The benzos (the family of meds for anxiety) are all addictive and buspar is great because it is rarely considered a benzo. these meds should be carefully scripted. i take buspar, and for me it has no side effects and i no longer have panic attacks, or any level of anxiety that isn't normal. i like the fact that it doesn't make me feel weird or altered. most psych drugs alter the way your brain produces or receives the chemical signals it emits. whether one over or under produces determines the kind of drug. also, if you have multiple diagnoses, then there are "mixtures" that work well together (or counter effect some) so following the drs orders are very important

xanex and valium offer short term relief and they are really addictive so my advise would be to try everything else first. anti depressants can work really well for panic attacks and the side effects are not as troublesome as everyone seems to think. It is worth going on anti-d's and trying other things like exercise or relaxation, but if your anxiety is really bad u could get tranquilizers for a few weeks but dont stay on them for long because they are so addictive

as far as im concerened if anxiety is that bad you wont notice side affects.i wouldnt go for short term as in valium and stuff.its hard to say which drug because everyone is diff.my preference is seroxat.bad press i no but it worked for me.
