My distant relative also died like that .......he was 88,really healthy, went 2 sleep after watching tv and never got up......

tell ur friend that dieing in sleep is far better than dying in an accident or of some painful disease...

u dont worry about ur friend not sleeping,my gandpa had the same problem long time back.....he started sleeping when he became really tired.....

EDIT-my grandpa is fine ..... d man who died is my distant relative

When I was younger I had a fear of death which didn't allow me to sleep at night. My solution was to play soothing music, which I would fall asleep to. Tell your friend that death is a natural part of life, and not to worry about it. If you live your life worrying about death, you're not really living, are you?

without sleep you can die, and we all die sometime

nope, because why fear, isn't it not it is more fearful to wake up in the mornin that your doing the same thing over and over again ...wake up in the mornin...cook...eat...go to the toilet...work...go home...eat(get my point),then in the next day ...your still doing the same.... weird ha.....

Never heard of. But even if you could die of actually sleeping, statistics show that most people don't die when sleeping. In fact - more people die from not sleeping than from sleeping.

No, I've never had a fear of being dead. Dying in your sleep would probably be the best way to go.

tell him he's equally likely (if not MORE likely) to die when he's awake, but it's not likely it'll happen anytime soon. Death is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, think how many days people go through NOT dying... ;-)

however if he doesn't sleep, he CAN die from that. and it increases his risks of getting any of those deathly things.

only way to see a psychiatrist immediately..

death is true but with this tension of death we can't live so forget death enjoy life other wise life will crash like indian stock exchange

he seems to have developed a phobia. He probably has an anxious personality .He cld try cognitive behaviour therapy.

Consult a homeopath for effective treatment.
