I feel like something needs to be said to me?!

Question: I don't know what it is. I feel like I'm lacking something and there's a void in my heart. I know there are no magical words of inspiration or anything, but something rational and uplifting would be great. I've been on here trying to resolve problems, but they're apparently so bad that people think I'm lying. It's really disheartening. Have any advice? Thanks.

Seek and ye shall find...kjl

It does get better.

look at yourself in the mirror and say "i am amazing!" or something like that, it may sound silly, but it might make you feel better and give you a good laugh. that little bit of self uplifting might be just what you need to feel better and help you to get through the day :]

You mean the world to someone

or

Every night SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep

Do you mean on Yahoo answers? People are not always so kind on here. People can act very immature. I think without getting too spiritual, the best way to feel better about yourself is doing something for others. Try going out of your way to visit an elderly person and bring them some fresh flowers, or hang out with a little brother, niece, etc... at a park. Do something kind for someone else and you are bound to start feeling better about yourself.

Ok... a little spirituality... please forgive me if you don't believe in God, ok? I do believe in God and I believe God made each one of us special and unique. He gave each of us a fingerprint that is unlike any one other person! You are on this earth for a reason. Keep searching for your reason and do good. This is the best advice I think. Good luck, ok?

Everyday you have a new chance to live, but you are in control that life, every breath and word of it, you are the one in control, not any one else, but you..

How are these words of wisdom? They just came to me reading your question!

we've all been there, and just know you'll get through this.

Once you're out of this stage, you'll be so much stronger and happier. Just wait a while..you're going to do great things with your life, love. ? :]

I cannot stress enough the benefits of a decent counselor. There are some very helpful groups out there who are so fair with sliding-scale fees that anyone can afford to invest in thier own mental health. Maybe once, maybe months. You sound like the perfect candidate in that you are open to resolve your issues. That is half the battle, girl. I know that the folks here on Answers can be helpful, but most are just sarcastic or apathetic. You deserve an educated opinion. Take the next step and I'll see ya on the next level, kay? I'm routing for ya!

aww i know what that feels like. i used to feel as though something huge in my life was missing and i could never reach it or bring it back. i dont want to shove believes down your throat cuz i hate people who do that, but im a christian, and recently i started paying more attention to God and i realized that he loves me soo much and cares about me and now i have a hope to live for. now you may be thinking, how is there a God, it cant be real. well, he is and i have proof. Did you ever hear a story of someone being demon possessed or also about like a ouija board or voodoo dolls? yea those things have demons in them, and you see, obviously demons are real, which means satan is real, which ultimatly leads to God being real cuz Satan used to be an angel for God but he was cast out of heaven along with the other angels that were on his side. they became known as demons. i recomend to find that missing thing, maybe start looking at christianity. it helps me alot, but i must be honest with you, alot of christians now days are so narrowminded and shut up to the world that they act very rude toward anything that may seem "wordly" and this annoys the crap out of me, now im not saying you will be like that, im just saying maybe if you start talking to some person thats a christian,,, just get ready cuz they might be a little overboard with the whole "you must get saved or youll go and burn in hell" thing..which is true but they point it out very harshly sometimes...so yea, but im willing to talk to you about anything so im or email me at xxluvinafixix for email just at @aim.com at the end.

if you need to talk i can help and listen. mail me back but read my profile first

I highly agree with jest1esta's advice. Having a counselor is very healthy and infinitely useful. Sometimes you need a locksmith to open up some of the doors in your psyche that you might not have known about, that you lost the key for, or just simply forgot about. A therapist (e.g. psychologist) can be a great tool for ANYBODY who is willing to try to learn more about themselves.

But for now, all I can say is that companionship could be helpful. Get together with some friends, ask out that special someone, or just get a pet. Getting a new cat or dog, etc is a very helpful means to fill the "void" you are talking about.

Again, look into therapy with a psychologist. It can truly make all the difference in the world.

you are good. you deserve happiness. the past is gone, tomorrow is the beginning. the future will be better. i want you always to be happy.
