I think I have an addiction to porn. What can I do?!

Question: About the time of the American Civil War, a Hindu Shivite named Ramakrishna once said that we all have natural cravings, uncomfortable feelings, and everyone is a little nutty about something or other. He said that usually the people we call odd or crazy are those people who for one reason or another no longer conceal it. Your sexual energy is no one's business but your own, or someone's with whom you have made sexual fulfillment agreements involving exclucivity with. There are many overbearing groups which claim to somehow own people's private lives, such as the mafia and many other evil cults, often posing as not evil or even superficially righteous with lots of "decorations". The Right to Privacy is involved in most of the nation's Charter Documents, yet many people these days wish to give it up in hopes of getting more of it, which is much more nuts than even Ramakrishna was talking about! When you get an actual girlfriend, your porn thing will instantly decrease, until things go wrong between you and her, and then you will need alternate attractions to dwell on once again. Anyone who does not have a realized or unrealized addiction to some form of sex, either clearly has a glandular deficiency, or has been brainwashed by some form of cult. Do nothing unusual publicly, or folks will think you odd. Do everything harmlessly fulfilling, and keep it as a private matter. Regards, Larry.

Get help from a therapist.

Find other things to do with your time such as volunteer, develop some interests and learn about them and find others who share the same interests, then porn won't be an addiction, it can be a reward because I can tell you that every man loves porn and there is no getting away from it 100%. Why even put yuorself on that bandwagon of I hate myself I love porn I hate porn I love myself. It's a vicious cycle that is best resolved with moderation. By the way I love porn, but I have other interests that keep me busy so that I'm not a porn freak. By the way if you're not employed then get a job.

well, if your truly want to stop and you think it's an issue, tell a close friend whom you can trust. have him/her keep you accountable for your actions, it might be embrassing at first but once you over come this habit you will be happy that you did this.also the first step to overcoming this is you realizing that its a problem so your already one step ahead
