Yes you can be so-called "addicted". It's not really an addiction. Like you said a fear. It's a fear of getting better because this disorder has become your identity. And to get better would be to lose this identity. And if you don't have any help building a new one it's hard. It's why therapy is beneficial. You can work on slowly building a new you, and with that you slowly "come out" of your disorder. You start healing and getting better.

It's a hard road, many people have gone down it though. You're far from alone.

its natural. 'getting better' means you have to leave the person you used to be in the manic highs. its a terrible thing to let go to a person you liked for so long. kind of like "buyers remorse". in time you'll feel adjust to the new lifestyle, and finding out the person beneath some of the unstableness. it's normal, trust me.

you can be addicted to a lot of things, especially if it alters your mood

i don't think so..... i think that feeling depressed is just normal for you, that you may think you cant get better. your used to it.

but you can get better! i did.

Humans can become comfortable with anything. You may have become comfortable with your depression and are afraid of the change that may occur if you "get better". Perhaps you simply find it convenient to hide behind the disorder as it allows you to avoid things that frighten you or you don't wish to deal with.
There is also the possibility you simply don't want to make the effort to change. Life is too short to not "change".

Normal... When you've spent a lot of time in a "place" your become comfortable with it... change is hard... your NOT addcited to any disorder.

yes you are addicted to the attention you get... get over yourself -- move on in life...
