Anxiety, should I see my doctor?!


Question: Lately I've become SUPER stressed with many aspects of my life. For the past week and a half I've been constantly nervous about particular things and its getting in the way of my routine life. I can't eat because my stomach is constantly in knots. And if I think too much I'll start crying and sometimes get hysterical. A lot of this anxiety is related to my boyfriend and some issues he/we are having. He doesnt know if his problems will be passing anytime soon and I dont know how much more I can take of feeling like this. This constant worrying and nervousness is draining me. Should I wait for it to pass? Or see my doctor about maybe getting some sort of anxiety medication? And if I chose to see a doctor, what happens if 2 weeks later my boyfriend figures out his issues and I feel better, will getting off the medication be ok? It seems I need a temporary fix for a certain amount of time......Please any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

i dont like telling people not to see there doctor about these things but these rpoblems arent yours. you just need a split from your boyfriend. i dont mean to break up but maybe a day or two to your self and some friends. goof off and try to forget. then you can deal with the issues between you two with a clear head.

for sure meds but see a doctor and they will help with that. if you need help im more than happy to help out and give you some coping skills in the meantime. read my profile to see if you feel alright with me. i wont bite ill give you more laughs than anything!!LOL
