This is a very common problem for people your age. 24 is a turning point in your life, you're no longer a teenager or child, but then also not yet a minivan driving adult either. My suggestion would be to just start a new hobby or something that will maintain your focus. Also make sure you get lots of sunlight and exercise as they can relieve depression. Good luck!!!

ps ---- if a guy acts like you don't exist, he isn't worth it. I'm not trying to be corny, but coming from a happily married woman, if a man doesn't adore you (and you him in return) move on because the right man could be around the next corner. Have you ever thought that while you are wasting your time chasing the most popular (prob self conceded) man in your town, you could be overlooking a quiet kindhearted good man?

It's called quarter-life crisis, and we all get it. We're in limbo. Most of us don't have "real" jobs, yet we are supposed to do "real" adult things. It's overwhelming, and it is easier to just withdraw. I found that the solution for me was to decide to never get a real job ever and remain a student for the rest of my life.

It's normal. Honestly though as you get older time speeds up faster, if you think your old now you'll be 30 in no time soon.

I heard that there was research done on this and it has something to do with the brain slowing down when new things are learned, thats why when we are young time lasts forever. As we get older we already know stuff so there is no slow down and it seems to speed up.

See a doc. You are 24 years old you are not old :o)

Take your focus off yourself, seriously. You must have done that a lot when a teen and popular. Now it is the real world starting at your age. Do something for others like voluteer to help out abused kids or the elderly. Then you'll appreciate what you have and how fortunate you are.
