Counsler wont see me anymore unless i take a drug test?!
Question: My counsler recently told me he wouldnt see me anymore unless i would take a drug test and ive been clean for over 2 months which he knows. So i feel like he must no beleive me. Which would be dumb to keep going if he doenst trust me. I feel like i have nothing tro prove to him. Am i over reacting? Should i just go and take the drug test to PROVE to him i am clean?

His job isn't to trust you - it's to help you. If you feel he's been helpful thus far, then take the drug test. You're only hurting yourself if you refuse...it's not like he's going to beg you to come back!
Addicts lie real well, He would be remiss if he did not.
What he would observe would be the same whether truth or a lie.
He also knows,fear of a drug test is another deterent to a relapse.
Look at it this way, He trusts you,just not that demon in you that he has dealt with before.
Your counsellor may be doing this because he HAS to, a lot of places may actually require patients to do this, so it may have nothing to do with whether he believes you or not. Think of what's better for you! Maybe you can take the drug test, and THEN talk with your councellor about how uncomfortable it made you feel...

of course you should take the test. if you have nothing to hide, then it shouldn't bother you..take it with pride, actually...and keep taking them with pride.
Yes...just take the test...it may not be that he doesn't trust you, maybe it's just protocol he and you have to follow...
