Is earth caught in a time vortex?!

Question: Does it seem like when you go to bed you look at the clock and you have been up 14 hours but it doesn't even feel like it has been 14 minutes? Even 14 seconds really. Does it seem like absolutely nobody is talking about this time vortex? Is there a time dialation field perhaps? Want to place this in mental health if I can, not paranormal events, because I do have some mild psychological issues but you guys in here think outside the box more.

No, time is still happening. Your brain is standing your mind's clock still. This is sign of mental illness- time distortion. I have been sick since 94' and I don't feel that time has passed...but I know it has.

its possible

That's never happened to me...
But anything is possible, isn't it?

No, you are jumping to the unusual almost paranormal answer before considering the more logical and likely causes. It does sound a lot like the depression I suffered from, the days are meaningless and blend into one, you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. If a day is full of fun and interesting events then it should stand out in your mind better. Perhaps you need to change your lifestyle, introduce more fun activities (take up a martial art, join a sports team etc). You should probably consider talking to a counselor, they may help work through the stress and background issues that make you feel this way.

I think it is more a situation with YOUR perception of time...

I have a problem with time perception when I am sleep deprived. Time ceases to mean anything to me. I can work a whole day and recall something that happened that morning and it will be totally out of context in time. I couldn't determine whether it was that morning or last week.

It wrecks havoc with me because since I lose the perception of time passing I will continue on with activities without stopping for sleep. Vicious sleep deprivation cycle. You would think that it getting dark would clue me in to sleep but it doesn't work that way.

No one is talking about your time vortex because you are the only one experiencing it around you.

We did leap forward in time recently for daylight savings time. But seriously I can loose track of time and barely remember what I did that day if I am extremely busy. Especially with things I'm not familiar with. For some reason it seems my mind has to 'go someplace' so I can get a task done.
What is a 'time dialation field'?
