Visual Hallucination, is this normal?!

Question: Is this normal or is something going wrong with me. First off, I have asked friends about this and they all say it sounds like I have been doing LSD or Mushrooms.

I am 21 and have never done drugs or even alcohol, so that is not the answer.

The Problem:

If i zone out (start to day dream etc...) within 10 seconds, whatever I am looking at begins to morph in and out into in different ways. Things can start melting together and moving around or they start to swirl and melt into different random forms. I could be staring at a patternless carpet or a blank chalkboard and all of a sudden I will get the melting morphing affect.

If I blink, it just automatically resets and then starts to morph again. its hard to describe, but things like walls will start moving in and out like they are breathing or trees and telephone poles start to bend back and forth.

Like I said, its hard to explain but if needed, I can add additional details. I just want to know whats going on.

The zoning out is the clue here, along with staring and not blinking. This can happen to any of us. More so if your eyes are in need of glasses or have astigmatism (don't work well together). It also has to do with eye-fatigue.

Advice: see an eye Dr for a thorough eye exam.
