hey i'm almost 30yrs old and your 14 yrs old...thats bad kiddo,i'm suffering the same deal here.you tell me what you come up with ok? i seriously think there's nothing wrong with you, your very young to be experianceing all this, all you need is sleep and ask your momma about what your telling us on here.

That's more common than you think. Things that can adversely affect your short term memory are smoking pot, not eating regularly, poor sleep, stress, constipation, medications -prescription or over-the-counter, alcohol use, eating disorders, drugs. If you are 14 years old - just a guess, hormone changes could be a factor. Take care of yourself. You only get 1 body and you are in charge of it.

I would consider this to be relatively normal. However, I think there are a few things you can do to improve it. This includes getting more sleep, eating less sugar, consuming less caffeine, and eating fruits and vegetables and lean meats, which are known for helping you with your memory. Also, research some good tips for helping you with retaining information. This is a good website:

If none of this helps, I would consider asking your regular physician about it.

At your age I would be a little worried but without further info I cannot be sure of what your problem may be. For example this could be a problem caused by adhd or as you dont state it it could be a drug problem if you take drugs. I myself would go and see a doctor as it could also be a tumor that is causing it and getting something like that seen to now would be better than going through what you are

That isn't normal. It happened to me once and it was due to a few things. Lack of sleep was one of them. Go to the doctor and explain your situation. They will probably do a number of blood tests and be able to figure it out. Maybe you have a lack of a certain vitamin or chemical in your body? I dunno. In my case the doctor suggested an herbal supplement called Ginkgo Biloba. It is supposed to help with memory. Good luck.
