Can anyone help discover what, if any, mental disorder I have?!

Question: I wake up in the middle of the night halloucinating and crying. Then, when I wake up the next day I dont remember it, I need my parents to tell me. I also sometimes lash out and cant control myself when I am either incredibly angry or sad. It also seems sometimes that my sub-concious mind controls me at some points when I dont even remember what I did. I also live in a family where I am not physically abused per se but I am definetly verbally abused. Can anyone help discover what, if any, mental disorder I have?

Either Schzoprenia, or Bi-Polar disorder for the lashes... schzoprenia for hallucinating and/or nervous. try webmd.com and enter symptoms... my mom verbally abuses and somtimes* 'attacks' me when I mess up or disrespects her ** If You go to a school counserler they will call Child Protection Services (and could take you from your family into foster care**

I almost got taken away

I would go to a doc,.. Maybe you have bi polar :s

it seems like depression to me, as i suffer from depression, i also cannot control my temper, and sometimes cry too. It important to go for treatment earlier. Dont be afraid, many people also suffer from it. You will recover if you immediate go for treatment and u have my support.

You may have an anxiety disorder or post-traumatic stress syndrome whichis another form a anxiety. When you live in a verbally abusive family, the stress from being beat down verbally will eventually cause you to have symptoms like you are experiencing. I would definitely try to speak with a counselor or psychologist to work through the verbal abuse issues and teach you techniques for dealing with the abuse as it comes up.

Mental abuse is so much worse than any other kind.
Please get some help from a professional.

It sound like ptsd .[post tranmatic stess disorder]. It will do you no good just to know what you ,but to seek the care of a phshygist. Please do it right away, and do not be ashamed to do so.I suffer from deppression myself so I know what you are going thru.

What is your physical health like? The reason I ask is because if it is not a mental disorder then perhaps it is caused by something being wrong with you physically. There are many associations between mental disorder-like behavior & lifestyle/physical health. Some of these are: excessive heavy metals in the body (get tested/do a heavy metal cleanse), food allergies (get tested), vitamin & mineral deficiencies (get tested), unbalanced circadian rhythm (start sleeping & eating on a regular schedule & spend some time outside each day). Something else you might want to consider is cognitive behavioral therapy. It is the only one proven to help clients improve. Check the website below for more information.

Well it sounds like night terrors .My husband gets them except he thinks he's choking and he's not. And eventually wakes up and goes back to sleep..But you should go and see a doctor to be sure that it's nothing. Please go see a doctor.Good luck and God Bless.
