Is there any way I can stay motivated?!

Question: There are times when I feel very motivated to do things to better myself...like for these past few days I have been feeling incredibly motivated to go to college for some random reason. But then all of a sudden I'll just stop caring about it and let it go....or I'll find something I think is more important at the time (like a boyfriend...stupid me) and become apathetic about everything else....

A big example is all through high school...I'd always take AP classes and such...but then I'd just not care about them and not do any of the work. I don't want to do the same with college or anything....

Is there any way I can stay motivated to better myself?

What do you mean better yourself? Is there anything deficient about you right now? Or is it there is something deficient in your life? You're flip flopping.

Okay, I took it back. You want to make your life more vibrant and real dont you? Go to college and expect B's. Join a sorority and get to know people. It will definitely be an experience you'll never forget or regret. Be safe, though. College is real deal. It seems like you're interested in the brain. Maybe you should study it in college. Don't sign up for ....you know.....Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Algebra, etc. etc. all in the same semester. There are no graduation rules in college. Go with a want to learn, a passion for life, and a gratitude of the moment. Good luck.

Oh, and beware of romantic relationships AND loose behavior in college. Romance will break your heart and loose behavior will shame your soul.

People motivate differently, you need to figure out what you enjoy most. Basically if the activity is fun then you will be more keen to stick at it. If you have a good way to spend your freetime it will make you generally happier and therefore more relaxed when it comes to the things that you need to do.
You should pick up a physical activity, join a sports team, take up a martial art, learn to dance etc. Set goals and you'll feel a great sense of achievement when you reach them, while at the same time making new friends and improving yourself physically.

sea ch and identify your aims, think what you will do to reach them.bring your aims to paper and read them twice a day.

you should hv a set goal in life.....read books of great personalitie n always be positive.

Stop thinking.
That may sound silly, but think about it, [okay! don't think about it..you know what I mean??] most of the time we'll jump in our thoughts about "what to do". The focus gets lost when you think too much about it. Concentrate upon what's important, right now (today, this minute)..Then, see yourself doing that "What if I do this"....Then, do it.
"One day at a time" works well with this. Anything that furthers your experience & knowledge is a good thing; love, on the other hand, takes a bit more than just individual effort.

(You'll let me know if I'm making sense right?)
:)

Seems like you're thinking short term. If you look for long term goals you'll be more motivated. Like if you want to get a college degree in accounting and then a career in such, you'll be more focused on what you have to do to get to your goal.

Just think of where you want to be in 10 years. Married, house, career, car, vacations and much more......

Yes i can pinch you every time you need it to keep you going. ;-)

It may be that you need a complete change of foods.

do you have high self-esteem of yourself? do you have goal & dream? what is preventing you from achieving it, outside or inside world? have you make commitment to yourself? what drive you on and how? on a scale of 1-10 how important of what you are going to do or achieve?

a strong person, willing to leave behind some of his of her daily life doing or scarfing his or herself temporary in shot to gain something valuable in the long run. so the bottom line is are you serious and willing to change for your own good.
